1. Rezzcard Business

We are in the business of assisting landlords receive payments from tenants through various means. We will refer to this business of ours in this policy as the “Services”. As part of the Services, we may issue to you unique account number through which you can access the Services. The account number may be provided to you on a printed card or by other means.

2. Privacy at Rezzcard

Maintaining your privacy is one of the core values of Rezzcard. The purpose of this policy is to inform you of what information we will collect, store and disclose in the course of providing the Services to you. This policy applies to both landlords and tenants, although most the non-public personal information we will collect will be from tenants. 3. Collection of Information

In order to provide the Services, we, or one of our agents, will be required to collect some of your non-public personal information. We request information from each user of the Services via our Site, e-mail and on paper. We may also receive information from your landlord, so as to make it easier for you to access the Services. The following are the categories of information that you may be asked to provide:

  • 3.1. contact information (such as name, email and postal address)
  • 3.2. financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date, bank, bank account number, and other personal financial information);
  • 3.3. the premises on which you wish to pay rent;

The information we collect is used primarily to assist us in providing the Services to you. For example, but without limitation, if you enroll in a program whereby we, as an agent for your landlord, charge rent to your bank account or credit card, we may store, or have a secure payment processor, store the credit card or bank account information so that we may use it each month when you wish to make payments of rent through the Services. We may also use your information to solicit you to offer additional products or services. We may also make other uses of your information with your consent.

5. Storage of Information

We store information that you provide to us or that we collect through cookies, log files, clear gifs, and/or third parties to create a profile of our users. A profile is stored information that we keep on individual users, and will be associated with your unique Rezzcard account number. Consequently, collected information is tied to the users personally identifiable information. This profile is used to tailor a user's use of the Services, and to direct pertinent marketing promotions to them. We do not share your profile or any part thereof with any third parties. We will, however, share records of your rent payments with your landlord.

6. Log Files

Like most standard web site servers our Site uses log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Though we make every reasonable effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law when we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on us.
